Allyson Rogers - Owner and Head Trainer

Allyson Rogers brings her experience of working with many of the country's best dressage trainers and top horses to Ocala, Fl. She spent 10 years working with Olympian Steffen Peters, training in both the US and in Europe. She accompanied him to the Olympics and other international competitions for many years. When staying in California, Ally was responsible for riding and schooling some of the most famous international dressage horses of that time, including 1996 Olympic Bronze Medalist Udon, owned by Lila Kommerstad, as well as her other famous horses Grandeur, Akeena, and the 2005 USET Intermediare I Champion, Luxor. Some other famous names are Anky van Grunsven's and Robert Dover's former Grand Prix horse, Eminent, and the wonderful Oldenberg stallion, Routinier, whom later came back to her in TN so she could continue showing him to great success.

After leaving Steffen’s barn, Ally ran a prominent and successful business in the Memphis, TN area for 14 years, helping many students move up the levels and achieve their dressage goals. Ally relocated to Ocala, FL in 2019, and since then has established herself as a trainer and coach that is successful helping horses and riders from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Ally received multiple California Dressage Society Year End Awards while partnered with Steffen's former GP alternate for the Atlanta Olympic Games, Akeena. In addition to her extensive experience at FEI levels, she was known at Steffen's for bringing the young horses along through the levels and her patience with the babies.

In Tennessee, she garnered numerous awards with many horses, including her own Hanoverian mare, Gretel, the previously mentioned stallion Routinier, and the famous Arabian gelding, Scrabble, at Grand Prix (owned by Massar Stables). She garnered much success with several young horses imported from Europe. Ally and her students qualified for and competed very successfully at the USDF Regionals Championships every year since her arrival in TN, and in 2013 she had an unprecedented 3 students (as well as herself) qualify for the inaugural USDF Finals in Lexington, KY.

Ally has students of all levels and takes great pride in the fact that her students, through their hard work and dedication, progress and advance through the levels. She has brought several riders from the lower levels up through the FEI, including to Grand Prix. All breeds and all levels of horses and riders are welcome!
