Florida Trip Report
Training with Todd Flettrich
ALR Dressage had a terrific and productive time during their stay in Wellington, FL. A month of fabulous training with Todd Flettrich translated to a successful show at the end of the month at White Fence's Palm Beach Derby Show. Patty Fannin had a great debut in Prix St George, Allyson showed Power Play for the first time in PSG and Tina West kicked butt in both her first and second level tests. We spent the month soaking in the sun and fun but mostly the great instruction. We also enjoyed the incredible dining and I think, for a few of us, it was diet time when we returned. We are looking forward to continuing to expand our knowledge and hope for more chances to learn with Todd, who will be here teaching a clinic May 23-24!

Congratulations Ally Rogers & Desert Queen
A recent addition to the ALR Dressage family, Desert Queen, also known as "Chloe" around the barn, is a beautiful Hanoverian mare owned by Amy Stika of Heritage Manor Farms. Chloe and Ally were qualified for the USDF Regional Dressage Championships for 2008 in their first year of showing together. Congratulations are in order as this pair moved on to become the 2008 USDF Region 9 Champions at Training level with an excellent score of 70%.
Look out for this pair next show season and watch them moving up the levels! |
