Regardless of the discipline you or your horse come from (fox hunting, eventing, showjumping, etc), dressage training is often referred to as the basic and most essential building block of all riding. Once you have established a solid foundation for yourself as well as your horse, you can go on to more specialized riding or further your competitive goals. Our lesson program is based on the German dressage training scale, and is appropriate for all levels of riding students. We welcome and teach beginners, as well as advanced riders of all ages at our facility.
Scheduling A Lesson
Riding lessons are available Monday through Saturday each week and are conducted by appointment only. To schedule your lesson, call ALR Dressage at 901.867.2843 and we will set up an appointment for you on our lesson calendar. If you need to cancel a scheduled lesson we ask that you give us a 24 hour courtesy notice. Please note that due to the fact that we try to give every student and their horse the attention they deserve, all our lessons are private and we don't offer any group lessons at this time.

- Private lesson with school horse provided: $85
- Private Lesson with own horse (trailer-in): $65
- Private Lesson with own horse (boarded at Massar Stables): $65
- Lesson on the Lunge line (30 mins.): $55
