Horses for Sale

Please contact Ally for more information on any of these horses.

  • Corsican

Corsican is a 2007 Hanoverian sired by Contucci and out of a Bordeaux mare, which makes him bred almost identical to Hilltop Farms late Cabana Boy. This is an extremely athletic gelding with incredible movement, elasticity and ridability. He is easy to sit and willing to work hard. Because of his height, currently 17'2 hands, he has been started slowly and correctly and is going w/t/c with a leg yield. Even though he is tall, he is a narow, elegant horse and has a lovely forward attitude. This is a fancy baby! This horse is so safe and kind with NO naughtiness in him at all. I would put any of my amaeur riders on him (and have!) and not worry a bit. Priced at $35K.

  • *Sold* - Brianna

Congrats to Kathy in Wellington, FL on her new dressage partner!

Brianna is a 2006, 16h KWPN registered mare by the top sire Contango and out of a Roemer mare. Started later, Brie has been in professional dressage training just since mid-October and already has made significant progress. She is now easily w/t/c and offers easy baby leg yields and shoulder fore. She is naturally round and soft in the hand and has the maturity of a much older horse. Level headed and kind, she is easy to sit and has a wonderful work ethic. She is not mareish in the least and gets along quite well with other horses. Bred and raised by her owner who has handled and imprinted her extensively since birth, she has a lovely temperament and is easy to handle in every aspect. Priced to sell, she is a bargain with her impeccable bloodlines and charming personality.

  • *SOLD* - Samwise Gamgee

A big congrats to Tamara in Virginia Beach, VA on her purchase of Sammy! We wish you the best in your new partnership and future dressage endeavors!

"Sammy" is a 2004 imported Danish gelding, 16.1hh. He was imported as a 4-year old and due to personal circumstance, was turned out until early spring 2010. After just a few months, he qualified for Regional Championships in his very first two shows in both Training and First level. His fourth show was Regional Championships where he was Reserve Champion in the Training level open in a huge class. He was fourth in First level open, again in a large, competitive class. His scores that season averaged in the low to mid seventies!

He has the temperament and mind of an older horse but is incredibly athletic and his rideability is unmatched. The judges love him and he is just as much a pleasure to ride as he is to be around. Easy to sit, forward but balanced, not spooky or silly, he is just a lovely horse. Wonderful to handle on the ground including loading, shoeing, clipping etc. Super happy, fun, social personality.

Sammy has showed lightly this year in second level but mostly he has been training, getting stronger, more confirmed and ready to move up the levels. He now is solidly 3rd level and has also just started baby canter pirouettes and shows a STRONG talent for piaffe/passage. Goes equally well in the snaffle and the double.

  • *Sold* - Wyatt

Congrats to Sharon in Bluemont, VA on her new dressage partner!

Wyatt is a ten yr. old imported Hanoverian gelding with extensive training and show experience who is looking for the right home. Trained very correctly through Intermediare 1, he is a kind and willing partner with flashy gaits and a lovely temperament. He would be an absolutely perfect young rider horse, as he has been owned and shown by a young rider for most of his life. He would aslo be a great partner for a capable amateur rider. His owner is now busy in nursing school and with another young horse, so Wyatt needs to find someone else that he can teach!

  • *SOLD!* - Rendition

    Congrats to Karen and Doug!

2008 Oldenburg gelding by Routinier and out of an FEI imported Hanoverian mare, Rendition is going to be a very big boy. He already stands 16.1 so if you are looking for something with size and bone, he has it all. Even tempered and easy to handle, he shows loose, free movement and correctness all around. When presented at the Oldenburg Inspection, Dr. Schacht, a vet from Germany, strongly urged me NOT to sell but I need to reduce my herd. This is going to be a special gelding with equal potential for real success in either the dressage or jumping world. UTD on all vaccinations and worming.
