Show Assistance

A successful show!

If you would like to schedule a lesson with Ally at the show grounds, please sign up ahead of time. Horses currently in training with ALR Dressage are encouraged to schedule a lesson upon arriving at the show grounds. If this excedes the number of training/lesson rides for the week as agreed on in your training package there will be an additional $55 lesson charge. Warm-up assistance is also available on show days and needs to be coordinated in advance.

Out of Town Expenses

Travel expenses for Ally Rogers including a hotel room and meals will be divided among horse owners. The ALR Dressage tack stall will be divided by the number of owner/horses sharing it at the show. We will try to coordinate travel plans whenever possible, however, early feedback on your plans is highly recommended in order to accommodate every participant. If you need assistance with horse transportation to and from the show grounds, please discuss your needs with Ally Rogers or Kathy Massey as early as possible.

Signing Up For Shows

ALR Dressage will post a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lounge so riders can sign up for schooling assistance and lessons at shows. As always, early planning is appreciated and will be helpful in avoiding any scheduling conflicts.

If you are an ALR Dressage student or have a horse in training please list Allyson Rogers as Coach on your entry form. Be sure to sign your name as Trainer since you are responsible for the care of your horse while on the show grounds. Remember to sign all applicable boxes (Rider/Owner/Trainer) on the back of each show entry form. The information for the entry form is as follows:

Copies of cards are available upon request. Additionally, be sure to request to be stabled with Massar Stables so that all our horses are assigned stalls together. Be sure to include emergency telephone numbers on your entry form since this is a new USEF rule. Feed and hay will be provided by Massar Stables, however, each owner is responsible for the care of their horse when leaving Massar Stables. We also recommend to request extra shavings on your entry from since most shows only provide one initial bag.
